International Women’s Day means different things to different people.

Today we are thinking of the 3.8 billion people in the world that don’t have running water or a toilet in their homes, and the 2.1 billion people* who don’t have access to clean water. Water is 100% necessary for life and most of the burden falls to the women… mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers who walk miles for water every day of their lives. They are the ones tending those that get sick from contaminated water and they are the ones whose opportunities and future are severely limited.

Please say a prayer for these women today and consider giving a gift in honor of an important woman in your life!

Safe, clean water forever changes the lives of women and generations to come.
