Family Christian Fellowship Loboc – The “Linkers”

The youth of Family Christian Fellowship Loboc (FCFL)  are an amazing bunch of young adults.  They love the Lord and share His love generously with others.  The Linkers, along with Pastor Ryan, make up the praise band that leads worship every Sunday morning.  During our trip to Bohol a few weeks ago, we were able to share in their laughter and enthusiasm during a practice session Saturday night.  The linkers get together to rehearse every Saturday night for worship the next day.  These young people have grown up with Montana on a Mission and are each thriving in their own way.  They are now taking on leadership roles, teaching Sunday School, organizing youth fellowship outings, visiting and sharing God’s word with people in other barrios.  Several of the youth are interviewing families receiving MOM transitional homes, photographing and mapping the locations in order to keep us updated on the progress.  Below is a short video of a rehearsal and a few words from two of the members; Monette and Jay Ann.  They share a few words about what “Buhing Paglaum” or “Living Hope” (1 Peter 1:3) means to them.

Stay tuned as we will be sharing profiles and interviews of the youth in the coming weeks.
