Off Like a Turtle

DSC00595[1]

Deciding to go to Bohol to help earthquake victims is easy. Getting to Bohol is the hard part.

As we sit in the Billings airport at 5a.m. waiting for the first of four flights over 36 hours, I get the impression of a bunch of excited turtles waiting to race around a track. Our team of 15 can already see the finish line, but our patience will be tested as we hurry up and wait in airports, wait on line for flights and rush to the next gate. Even if we prayed hard, it will still take us 36 hours to get to our destination. But to finish the race means we will be in Bohol and be able to begin our task of honoring Jesus Christ by helping those that have lost their homes to a devastating earthquake.

We will update you at every chance and look forward to all that God has in store.

Please pray for our patience and stamina as we move toward Bohol…as fast as a turtle.
