Lowry Update!

We took the donated teachers resource material to the school yesterday (Mon).  Most students wouldn’t pay any attention to boxes of teacher materials.  Once the boxes were unloaded, the children were so helpful and excited.  It was fascinating to watch their expressions.  You would think that we had brought them all a present.  The most rewarding experience was watching them take these books out of the boxes and start reading them aloud!  When the teachers realized it was for them, that was even more rewarding and the children started carting off the boxes to the individual teacher’s rooms.  I can hardly wait until we bring the library books to them.  They read quite well and the teachers do a super job with what they have to work with.  I can only hope I’m still here to watch their faces and experience the joy.  I thank God again for guiding me here and being blessed by helping these people who appreciate the simple things in life.
