Kids Day

Grace is Pastor Samuel’s daughter and it was her birthday today.  To celebrate, we took all the kids to a huge park.  It was a really fun time and we played on all the swings and slides and everything a kid needs to have fun.  As the kids warmed up, they spent more and more time ‘giving me 5’ and teasing me.  Did I mention it was fun?  As the kids would slide down the slide, I would grab them and tickle them and they really thought that was fun.  I had fun with a boy named Samuel – he pronounces it ‘Sam well’;  he reminds me of my Andrew and we became good friends.  He is the little boy below on the left in pink.

We played for a few hours, had some cake and ice cream and then it was time to go.  I don’t know if we will see them again so I hugged as many as I could and said goodbye.  It was tough and fun at the same time.

Tomorrow we go on a remote trip that takes three hours of driving and we may not be back until late.  We may not be able to blog for a day or so.  Can’t wait to tell you all about it!
