From Carly

Hey! Yesterday was AWESOME. Our team spent the morning, helping out with a feeding program.  We brought and served a meal to malnourished children at the daycare. It is heartbreaking to see the conditions some of these people live in. Later in the afternoon, we made the scenic jeepnee ride to Tagbilaran in order to refurbish our supplies.

God is definitely at work in the Philippines. It’s evident everywhere: verses on buses, children singing praises, the cross on the hill, the beauty surrounding us. Wow. How can we not believe? I know we came here on a mission to serve and to teach, but it is us that have been served and taught. People here are so loving, kind, joyful, humble, generous, and patient. There is much to learn here:)

lIt was exciting to hear from you Carly Lauren and your friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks so fun and very, very interesting. I’m assuming you are out of Manilla but I can’t remember for sure. Your mom called this morning from Craigs’ and said she hadn’t heard from any of you for awhile and Gina looked up your site and here I am writing to you. Cousin Jace was in the State Rodeo in Bozeman this weekend and Gina and I watched him on Friday and Sat but he blew a stirrup yesterday so he doesn’t get to go to National. Your folks and Luke are in Roundup this weekend working cattle. I hope you are learning lots and hope all is going well. Love you lots-see you when you get home. Love Grannie Marry

    Hi Carly,

I have been checking once in a while for you, soo proud of you and what you are allowing Jesus to do in your life to be a beacon of light for His Glory. Your momma is in Round Up today riding so she called Grandma and had us check the computer because she hadn’t heard from you guys for a few days, so we put her mind at ease. Keep loving Jesus kiddo and letting Him use you as His vessel. Love you so much!!

We praise God for you and your service Carly, and the whole mission team!
The beauty of giving is that we generally receive more than we give—and you obviously are experiencing that truth!! Thanks for the insights not only into your trip, but your heart! 🙂
Prayers continue to be raised for you all!
