A Special Visit

Day 2 – Friday

What a day! This morning we visited the new home of two of our sponsored children who live with their beautiful grandmother, Primitiva. Such a privilege to visit this wonderful woman who has agreed to raise her grandchildren. The two were effectively orphaned when their mother remarried and started a new family. Primitiva wanted to care for them but had no income and a tiny, dilapidated home. MOM worked in conjunction with the local government to provide a new home in which Primitiva and her grandchildren could live. The children’s sponsors from Big Timber help to provide them with rice and more. The next step is to raise funds to provide clean, running water and electricity for light, to the house. Before we left we asked Primitiva if we could pray with her to ask God to bless her home. Not a dry eye was left after the Holy Spirit led us in prayer. We were ALL so blessed!
