Join us in giving hope and opportunity
We are grateful to share a new area of ministry the Lord has led us to in Uganda.
Since last November, we have been partnering with Pastor Moses near Kibale, Uganda, as he ministers to boys living on the city streets. Many of these children have left home because they are orphans, their families are facing extreme poverty, or their home environments are unsafe. For several years, Pastor Moses has faithfully served these boys through quarterly outreach, sharing the love and hope of the Gospel, providing hot meals, offering counseling, and meeting basic needs such as clothing, shoes, and hygiene items. We are blessed to come alongside him and his church in this important work.
Why boys? Pastor Moses said that there are many more resources for girls living on the streets due to their increased vulnerability. The boys don’t have many options and are typically left to fend for themselves.
