We continue emergency food distribution to all 13 of our project areas in Kenya. Emergency food relief has been going on since April due to food shortages associated with COVID-19 restrictions. There are 45 families identified in each area that receive a full month’s supply of food staples and soap. These families are generally widows, single mothers or disabled and have no alternative source of income or food. At each location, we also give food packets to 100-150 other individuals that come looking for food. Thanks to your donations we are currently feeding more than 11,000 people with each round of distribution. In the current circumstances, these families are relying completely upon this food relief.
