Dear friend,
We are celebrating more than 20 years of ministry together with our volunteers, donors and faithful prayer warriors – that’s YOU! As we celebrate successes and face challenges, we strive to keep our eyes on Christ and learn more each day about what it means to share His love.
We hope you will be encouraged by seeing all the ways your gifts and prayers have impacted so many people right here at home and around the world this past year.
Here are a few highlights from the past year:
*In the Philippines*
*The school lunch program is in its 11th year and continues to provide the entire school with healthy lunches each day employing five local women to manage the program and cook for the children.
*The Family Christian Fellowship celebrated their 20th year of ministry! They hosted a celebration for the entire community. We are pleased to be able to come alongside them to provide scholarships for church youth camps, VBS and pastoral training.
*Bible study small groups continue to meet and learn more about God’s love for us all through His Son, Jesus.
*In Kenya*
*15 clean water projects serving more than 35,000 people with clean water. Nearly eliminating waterborne disease, allowing for improved hygiene practices and enabling more children to attend and stay in school.
*Lower Oloosekin primary school. We are in our 4th year of partnership and 3rd year of the school lunch program which provides a hot, nutritious meal each day. The new school year just began in January and the school has grown to 109 students, preschool through 4th grade. During the school break we expanded the school by building four new classrooms to accommodate the growing number of students. We also provide curriculum and school supplies.
*Audio Bible SD memory cards were given to women at our women’s small group meetings. Most women haven’t been to school and can’t read. The SD cards allow them to listen to the Bible in their native language on the simple cell phones they have. We were also able to provide some local missionaries with audio Bible SD cards to share.
*This past year we continued to focus on maintenance and repair of existing water projects as well as further training for the communities in caring for the projects to ensure sustainability and that 100% of our water projects remain operable, providing clean water for decades to come. Just a few days ago we finished drilling a new clean water well that will soon supply fresh, safe water to another community.
*In Montana*
*Backpack to School provided 34 backpacks full of school supplies to students in need.
*During our 10th year of Homeward Bound 61 local households were served.164 total projects were completed by 167 volunteers
*100 food boxes were put together and distributed just before Christmas with the goal to supplement student nutritional needs while school is not in session. The boxes contained kid-friendly breakfast, lunch and snack options. This was a collaborative effort together with Sweet Grass Community Health, the Community Foundation, Sibanye Stillwater and the Boulder River Bandits 4-H club.
Once again, thank you so much for ministering with Montana on a Mission by sharing your blessings and the love of Christ right here at home and around the world! It is our hope that you will be encouraged and amazed at what God has done because YOU said “Yes!”
Gratefully,
