A beautiful Kenyan morning

Wow! What a beautiful morning! We wake early each day to the sound of roosters (just like home) and cows waiting to be milked. The windswept expanses of landscape and sky remind me so much of home.
Each morning while we are eating breakfast David, our host, has the Maasai radio station out of Nairobi on to catch the news. Guess who was the news yesterday morning… Montana on a Mission!! David translated the piece for us. They were saying what a good thing MOM is doing here in the Mara, developing clean water sources for the communities and challenging the county governments to do the same. They spoke about some of our projects then called Julius and David (our MOM local supervisors) for an on-air interview. It was an encouraging start to the day!!
