Fun Run History

Montana on a Mission hosts the annual Cow Country Stampede fun run to raise awareness about our projects, ranging from helping local people in need to drilling wells across the world. The Montana weather in November varies from sunny and brisk to snowy and freezing. We never know what kind of weather we’ll get, but we can count on the hot chocolate to taste good. It feels like a family holiday tradition to the people who participate from year to year. The intimate atmosphere is different than that of the Sweet Grass Fest Fun Run, the twin sister of the Cow Country Stampede.

The Sweet Grass Fest Fun Run is in June along with the Big Timber Rodeo and Sweet Grass Fest. After the race, runners enjoy live music, food vendors, and a car show. Find out more about the next Sweet Grass Fest fundraiser…
